Dan is President and CEO of Dorval & Chorne Financial Advisors. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ who entered the financial services industry in 1999 and has built a client base consisting mostly of health care professionals. Dan is a Registered Representative through Financial Network Investment Corporation. Dan is the author of Financial Success For the Rest of Us: Reality Based Planning for Mainstream America. He is a frequent guest speaker for the Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) on the topic of retirement income planning. Dan is also a contributing financial columnist to the Always a Nurse newsletter circulated nationally by the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Dan graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering. He lives in Otsego, Minnesota with his wife, Tracy, and their two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Alaina.

John, a member of the Financial Services Institute, attended Moorhead State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. He lives in Maple Grove, Minnesota where he spends his spare time teaching chess to local youth.

Nick is a Financial Advisor who joined Dorval & Chorne Financial Advisors in 2008. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Nick spent 5 years in the mortgage lending industry, most recently as the owner of a small mortgage company located in Elk River, Minnesota. He is a Registered Representative through Financial Network Investment Corporation.
Nick is a graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, after which he went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He currently lives in Buffalo, Minnesota with his wife, Katie, where they are anxiously awaiting the birth of their first child.

Ellen is the office manager at Dorval & Chorne Financial Advisors and has been part of the team since 2006. She earned her series 7 license in 2008 allowing her to help process trades and become more involved with client planning.
Ellen graduated from Minnesota State-Mankato with a degree in communication. She lives in Maple Grove with her husband Kyle and their dog, Stanley.
